Staff

All the Staff at Constantine Pre-school have Disclosure and Barring System (DBS) checks before commencing employment.

Staff are committed to regularly update their training a receive a minimum of 24 hours training a year. Each full-time member of staff at Constantine Pre-School has a Paediatric and Emergency first aid qualification. All members of staff have completed a food hygiene course recognised by OFSTED and have safeguarding qualifications.

Rosie Regini-CookPre- School Manager 

BA (Hons) in Education Studies & Foundation Degree in Arts (Early Childhood Education)

I have always enjoyed working with children and have worked in a variety of childcare settings and schools. I have worked at Constantine Preschool for 4 years and I love that every day is different. I live in Mawnan Smith with my husband and son, when I’m not spending time with my family I like to read and go swimming or running.


Jo Pymer  – Lead Practitioner

Qualifications: FdA in Early Years

Before starting at Constantine preschool I worked as a nursery teacher in Bahrain. I have moved back to the UK and I am living in Helston with my partner, two boys and two dogs. I love to go for walks, cooking and reading.

 

 



Hannah Ruberry – Preschool Practitioner

Qualifications: Level 3 Children and Young Peoples Workforce

I live in Constantine with my husband and son. I attended Constantine school and am very excited to now be working at the preschool. I love being outside and especially enjoy looking at and talking about nature with the children. When I’m not at preschool enjoy going out with my family especially to the beach and swimming.

 


Charlie Prinn – Preschool Practitioner 

Qualifications: Working towards Level 3 Early Years Educator

I live in Stithians with my two daughters, who attend Constantine Primary School. We love being outside and partaking in physical activities. I have a degree in horticulture and enjoy planting seeds with the children and looking after the preschool garden.


Alison Dash – Preschool Practitioner 

Qualifications:  Level 2 Children and Young Peoples Workforce

I live in Constantine with my husband and son, who attends Constantine Primary School. In my spare time I look after my chickens, two dogs and rabbit. I enjoy helping the children with craft and art activities at preschool.


SENCO (Special Education Needs Coordinator):

Rosie Regini is the SENCO, but many other members of staff have attended the SENCO training and we all work closely together with regard to any child in our setting with special education needs.  As part of our pre-school policies we have regard for the DfES Special Educational Needs Code of Practice (2001).  We also ensure our provision is inclusive to all children with special educational needs. We work together to support parents and children with special educational needs (SEN). We identify the specific needs of children with special educational needs and meet those needs through a range of SEN strategies.  The pre-school believes that we should work in partnership with parents and other agencies in meeting individual children’s needs at all times and we monitor and review our policy, practice and provision and, if necessary, make adjustments.

 FIRST AIDER AND FOOD HYGIENE:

Each full-time member of staff at Constantine Pre-School has a Paediatric and Emergency first aid qualification. All members of staff have completed a food hygiene course recognised by OFSTED.

All our staff continue to train and study throughout the year to ensure that they are updated with current guidelines and legislation.
