11th Sep 2017

We have been enjoying our Fire Station role play as part of this terms topic ‘People Who Help Us’.

I’d like to welcome everyone back after the summer holidays and make a special welcome to all our new families joining us this term.

As of the end of September I will be reducing my hours as preschool manager to pursue a career in lecturing. The committee will be hiring another part time manager and I will still be in preschool part time. I would like to take this opportunity to say how much I have enjoyed managing the preschool over the last four years and to thank all the parents for their support, kindness and understanding at this time.

Thank You Rosie

Current Contact Information

Can you please ensure that we hold your correct contact information including email address. If any of your details have changed please let Rosie know so we can update our records.

If you have not already completed a funding form for this term can you please collect one from the preschool office.

Can all lunchboxes, tubs and water bottles be named as several were lost last term. We’d like to remind all parents/careers that Constantine Preschool is a Healthy Early Years setting and as part of this we educate the children about the importance of having a balanced, healthy diet. We are asking for parents support this by ensuring lunchboxes are healthy and do not contain any food with a high sugar content. As of this term we will be following Ofsted guidelines in relation to healthy lunchboxes and we will not be offering the children anything in their lunchbox that has a high sugar content, however we will be offering them an alternative. If you any questions please speak to a member of staff. Thank you

Please can you ensure that you do not send anything containing nuts including peanut butter into preschool as we have a child with an allergy. Thank you

We had a great time at Constantine Carnival being part of ‘Preschool’s Royal Parade’. Preschool was awarded First place. We are looking forward to taking part again next year.

AGM and Cheese and Wine Evening

The date for the Preschool AGM and Cheese and Wine evening has been set for Thursday 5th October 7.30 pm. More details to follow shortly.

The Pre-school is a registered charity which is committee run. The committee must include parents or relatives who currently have children at the pre-school. We desperately need new committee members as there are several parents whose children have left pre-school this term

In particular we are looking for a Chairperson and a Secretary.

The AGM and cheese and wine evening is a chance for you to get to know the preschool, staff and other parents, so please come along and show your support.

Please see Rosie or a member of the current committee if you would like any further information.
